Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Yulai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. We recommend reading these terms carefully before creating an account.
Service Description
Yulai is a personalized restaurant recommendation platform that uses AI and knowledge graph technology to match users with dining experiences tailored to their individual taste preferences. The service is free for individual users. Our recommendations are generated based on your taste profile, dietary restrictions, and dining preferences.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it updated. You are responsible for all activities under your account. You may export your data or delete your account at any time through your account settings.
Your Data and Privacy
By using Yulai, you grant us permission to collect and process your taste preferences, dietary restrictions, and dining history to provide personalized recommendations. We follow GDPR-compliant practices and a strict data minimization principle. Your individual data is never sold. Restaurant partners only receive anonymized, aggregated insights. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Yulai only for lawful purposes. You may not use our service to harass, abuse, or harm others, distribute spam or malicious content, attempt to access other users' accounts, interfere with or disrupt our services, or use automated systems to access our platform without permission.
Restaurant Information
Restaurant information including menus, prices, hours, and availability is provided by restaurant partners and may change without notice. While we verify restaurant data during onboarding and conduct regular updates, we cannot guarantee complete accuracy at all times. We recommend confirming details directly with restaurants for time-sensitive reservations.
Recommendations and Allergies
Our AI-generated recommendations are based on the preferences you provide and our analysis of restaurant data. While we make every effort to account for dietary restrictions and allergies, you are ultimately responsible for verifying ingredient information with restaurants before ordering, especially for severe allergies. Our recommendations should not replace direct communication with restaurant staff about dietary needs.
Intellectual Property
Yulai and its content, features, and functionality including our AI recommendation system, knowledge graph technology, and user interface are owned by Yulai and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
Disclaimers
Yulai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our recommendations will always match your preferences perfectly or that restaurant information will always be current. We continuously improve our AI to enhance recommendation accuracy, but dining experiences are subjective.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yulai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to unsatisfactory dining experiences or allergic reactions. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use our service (which is zero for individual users).
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease, and we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR requirements.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany and the European Union, including GDPR. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Aachen, Germany. For EU consumers, this does not affect your statutory rights under your local consumer protection laws.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
